This assumes you have a good legal stance in the system. Next is that if you dont target anyone you can shoot certain ship types till they disable without anyone fighting back. You win like 40K each time so do this a little bit and you'll have enough for a better starting ship plus a marine platoon. If you win, duplicate the richer pilot and throw away the poorer. If a plugin is still around the fastest way is to just use one of those.īut for the first few hundred thousand you could run in a window, duplicate your pilot file, bet everything you have, and if you lose load the duplicate and repeat. It's kind of a nice relaxing way to get into a new, fresh start. On more than one occasion I figured I should pause after Step 8 and make a backup copy of my pilot file so I can just use that as a "starting point" for a new file, but never actually did it. Do those missions for Sigma upgrades to be unlocked and hypergate access.ĭo whatever storyline missions you want to do without worrying about money ever again. Go fight pirates or something until your combat rating is high enough to do the Sigma missions. Head back to Sanddown and trade for like 10 minutes, and you'll have 50M credits easy. I usually take this opportunity to snag a Mod Starbridge D or E as well, they come through the system pretty regularly as well. The Ion Cannon disables incredibly easy, and the Marine Platoons give you a 75% capture chance. Land and take off from the planet as many times as you need to capture a fleet of 6 Leviathans. There's a functioning hypergate there, and for whatever reason, I have found that attacking Sigma ships there (which come into the system via the hypergate frequently) does not hurt your legal status anywhere. Head to the Vella system near the southwest galactic edge. Sell all weapons and buy an ion cannon, then 8+ marine platoons. Go to the Altair system a jump northwest of Kania. Starbridge, pirate Starbridge, some Valk variant, whatever floats your boat. I found that sticking with the shuttle for the better speed is actually faster money than buying your own Terrapin. Trade here with a growing fleet of hired cargo drones, then terrapins, until you have your first 5 mil or so. It's not a huge margin, but the planets are so close together that it doesn't really matter. There is a planet and moon super close to each other where one of the goods (equipment IIRC) is cheaper on one. Sanddown system, 2 jumps southwest of Sol. Not sure if it was 100% max efficiency, but it always took me under an hour to be set for life on that pilot, as far as credits go. I always started off my new pilots with the same ritual.
